o.o Wait he made a thread for once?

Btw, multiple votes are allowed up there^

So from having volunteer work from "4:30-11am" for Friday-Sunday it made me think more and more of how having a physical real job must suck

Well... me being the idiot lazy one I've never had a job and I'm like 16 (Cus I just like to focus on school)

Point of this thread is, hey there! If you've had a job I wanna know about it, I wanna know some stories, some experiences good or bad, I know some of you out there have worked before or currently have a job so type up something below if you feel like it and I'd be happy to read them.

I worked in retail for a short time, quit cause it was bad. One time, a customer came 2 minutes before closing and threw up on a lot of shit, and I was forced to clean it all up ;-;

Currently working as an intern in an attorney's office complex.
My current job is a, sort of, junior secretary, where I have to help manage the paper work, appointments, and reports.

The last one was where I had the most fun.

Now, by law, I'm not allowed to disclose the private information of a client.
But, I have to tell you this in the most discrete way possible,
I once got assigned to write a report about an insurance fraud case where the person(s) tried to drive their car into the ocean.

Oh, and my coworker put tabasco sauce in my boss' coffee and my boss screamed like a baboon on a rollercoaster.
Was nice.

I remember the profile post about the sauce, but that stuff isn't super spicy though ;-;

I started my first day of my first job last Saturday as a ski instructor at my local ski mountain. It was a pretty slow day. I really hope I don't get any bratty kids.

I work as a waiter at a Spanish restaurant because my Dad's Dad is Mexican and I know enough Spanish to talk to people. I also work as a Tae Kwon Do instructor.
I'm going to college to become a aerospace/mechanical engineer, which is pretty cool.

I think just the hardest part of the day is just how slow things can be sometimes ;-;

Had 3 jobs

First one, I started when i was 14 was working in a restaurant called Hot&Spicy every weekends 11am to 5pm better then nothing plus because i was still a student, my salary was not the minimum wage.Why did i left? Well I didn't, it got bankrupted because no profit was barely made.Was fun,had free ice cream every break time. We even had a party the last day, was heckin fun.

Second,worked in a fast food restaurant,....again.This time it was called Industrial Dinner, sounds poor but the inside was fancy as fuck and old school, it even had a old Jukebox from the mid 80s, was working like it was brand new.Reason i had to work there was because there was a guy who worked there,my dad's friend, wanted to go on a vacation for summer, so he called my dad to ask if he knows anyone that could replace him and he recommended me since well i worked at Hot&Spicy. The boss and manager liked the fact i worked since 14 years old for 2 years in Hot&Spicy. They said I was doing more then just one job. cleaning, taking orders, taking care of the food packages that we ordered,etc. They gave me a slight raise but not too much since well you know, student, not graduated yet so no minimum wage.What happend to it you ask? Same thing that happend to Hot&Spicy, bankrupted, we had a party too before closing day.

Third one, and no its not a restaurant this time. Worked for a company called Hertz when i was 17.Yes they hired a 17 years old high school student that had no experience with their technology rather then hiring a 28 years old man who was prepared to work for Hertz. Reason? They saw more potentials in me than the other man. Dude was mad and i understand. Why I wanted to work at Hertz? Same reason with Industrial Dinner, dad's friend who worked there wanted to go on a summer vacation blablabla hired me and trained me blablabla and was ready to work. Once again, student, not graduated, no minimum wage (Here in Quebec its 10.75$ if you have a high school diploma, but it will be raised to 11-12$ around October 2017) It was hard at first really, but i got the hang of it in 1 day. My position was Car Rental Agency. Getting phone calls to reserve a car for rent, for how long, what model, number of passengers, ensuring there was no damage, tons of working had to be done to ensure customer satisfaction. One day, I saved the company because there was 2 guys wanted to rent a car asap, they were putting presure to me and saying hurry up im gonna be late for the concert gave me the card (To rent a car, you need credit card only no prepaid or cash), when he handed me the card, I noticed, it was a prepaid card and they wanted to scam me. Why? Because they know im a teen and they thought they could take advantage of me, but i said Sir this is a prepaid card they kept going with But it has cash in it then started to threatening me and the securities came and knock the shit out of me and sent to jail for harassing their *Top Agent*. Hehe top agent i was blushing when they called me that. Then the company wanted to move outside of the place where i live, Montreal. Fact that i live in Lasalle and the company is in Lavalle, its like 1-2 hours of driving there so i said i couldn't continue working since im still a high school student that is aiming for a good future. They understood that and gave me my last pay check. i made around 670$ in 2 months and a half. That wasn't minimum wage btw, But i think its because i stopped the 2 guys trying to scam the company.

Right now I am a high school Senior with no job, parents yelling at me saying i need to get a job and get experience but i said no **** that this is my last year and im going for that shitty piece of paper that says im no dumbass and so i can get minimum wage when i work and i can go to college and....you know the rest.

TL: DR : 3 jobs, 2 of them went bankrupted, other moved far far away. 2 restaurants and one car selling/renting company.
