I would suggest using shadow replay. Otherwise you can try obs but I do hear it takes a toll on your cpu.

Shadow replay is really the only best way to do without taking a huge toll on your CPU as far as I know.

But OBS is a pretty good recording software if you have a beefy computer.

OBS doesn't use much CPU when using hardware rendering, though i do have a i7-7700k so mileage may vary
it also depends what brand, NVIDIA or AMD since they have different encoding methods, power of the GPU itself, etc
on my 1080ti it only uses 6% in video encoding according to task manager

Bandicam (10 minute max if you don't buy it) or Hypercam 2 works too. You gotta have those watermarks up there

just use a phone like the flip phone kind with a back camera
best quality (if you are looking for that 8bit jazz)
