Potential July Rule Changes

This is the informal thread for July's rule changes. Feel free to suggest, comment, and share your opinions on new rules or changes to our current rules. Tell your friends and other jailbreakers about this thread if they don't visit the forums often so we can get their opinion.

Only rule that comes to mind for me right now is No Spellbook (Reds and Blues)

If you are going to suggest a rule, please make it on this thread and not a new one or there is a good chance I will forget about it.

Warden isn't allowed to say 'x and if you get in my melee range you're KOS' I have been getting alot of hate for this and don't feel like this should be a thing anymore.
Jarate isn't bait anymore because jarate could be accidentally thrown at multiple reds cause of one rebeller since the splash of it is quite unpredictable.
No spellbook as said before.
Not letting reds split up in two groups, I feel like this is kind of favoritism.
Conga should count as a partner taunt, and if there is told tocrouch walk or afk freeze on x then reds can conga to/on it, this could get countered by saying shoulder to shoulder on the x.
No makeshifts/bows of any kind should go into the common sense rule.

Please tell me if you find these rules good or if I need to tweak them ;3

Then blues shouldn't be using it around innocent reds.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean or if there is something specific you are thinking of, but as long as they are going to the same location let the warden do it the way he likes and is comfortable with.

No, that seems like it might confuse some people and it would cause a lot of freekills if warden says to afk freeze and the red team is congaing.

Yeah I could see this happening with the "lethal taunts are kos" rule. Good suggestion.

1. Like the first one
2. You would be surprised how many times people splash jarate (seems to be really slow now) on purpose causing higher chances of risk to reds.
3. Spellbooks is fine but I will miss them.
4. -/+ Games
5. Conga is slower than crouch walking, causes more delay.
6. Defining the bows are fine as it is.

For splitting up some wardens like to seperate reds into different parts or teams in games, this is needed for things like dodgeball.

I am gonna re-suggest something that I have wanted to see for a while and has already been re-suggested in this Thread, Next Round LRs. Everybody says,"They will just want Freedays every next round." There is a simple way to fix that, much like how we fixed the LR situation now, restrictions on the LR. What comes to my mind are 2 main ones, but there obviously can be many more restrictions. 1., No Requests for HG and 2., No Requests for Freedays.

And the whole SpellBook situation, I REALLY think that it should be kept as a usable, accessible Easter Egg, much like the Tardis and Luna Room. I understand the Freekilling aspect, but if they Freekill with it, admins can take care of that. I really liked discovering that Egg while here at SG and being able to use it as well, and I don't want to see it banned.

You just want to see it used because you discovered it... Christopher Columbus was the first to recognize North America, and I don't think he would want to see how North America is now. You won't want to see how the spell book has effected wardens. And blu team in general.

The spellbook is not meant for JB. I guess it would be ok if we allowed it as part of an LR though.

History is now in session...he wasn't the first to discover merica. He landed in the carribean and thought it was India so technically he didn't discover it. The vikings were the first to discover merica.
