One of my favourite authors is Terry Pratchett, who is amazing at making heartwarming quotes. I'd suggest checking out some of his work. He's also an illustrator. And a good one.
My favourite book, who wasn't wrote by him, is the Little Prince. First published in 1943, with a remake in 2000, ands a film remake not long ago. It's also one of the best books for some great quotes.

I love The Little Prince. I read it in fifth grade, and it still stands in my mind as one of the best novels ever written. Really contemplative work for a 10 year old to read, but I still loved it.

I used to try read it as much as possible, when I was younger, and rediscovered it recently. This, and The Number Devil were my two favourite books as a kid. Weirdly.
The Number Devil was released in 1997, by a German author. It's basically about a lad who gets visited by the number devil, and terrible tails ensue.
