If SG Was An Amine

Sure a podcast is something to be proud of but there's almost double if not more work required to output the actions that an animator/drawer has to deal with. You just set up people and have questions prepared. An animator has to come up with art styles and small details as well as a storyline and reason.

I'll reply tomorrow. Goodnight. It's not that I don't like you I just want to make my point clear. Plus I don't know you. Toodles.

Youre making it seem like doing stuff like podcasts is a simple "get questions that start"
  • Having to work on sfm backgrounds.
  • work on VFX for the video.
  • Edit out unneeded audio from each person which usually takes longer than the podcast itself (Roughly about 1-2 hours per audio file)
  • Edit audio again to reduce white noise, Awkward silence and joke inserts.
  • Make sure the audio is balanced throughout the entire 1 hour of audio
  • Render the video (About 1-2 days)
Im not saying that podcasts are hard to make, but theres alot of painstakingly dumb fucking shit to go through. Seeing as ive done animation for alot of my younger years, That being stopmotion (Claymation) or working on Flash, I think its fair that I have a say in how much effort that is, Also, Even smalltime animators get OTHER PEOPLE to do small parts for them (Backgrounds, Writing, Help with the animation itself)

Yes but I don't see you standing on the stage making yourself work to make a cartoon single-handedly because you have a want to improve the community and bring everyone together with a commonly enjoyed activity.

Also to my experience no one here majors in Japanese culture or activities. Sure we may not know a lot about it but learning is something we all are open to.
Swift has helped the community in many ways. He helped make the trade map, made a great podcast with @PathDoc15 (make more plz) aswell as being that one sniper everyone thinks is hacking. And, correct me if I'm wrong, he made a neat little sfm posters of all the admins with their tf2 mains

Again I say, animation and drawing styles are much harder. I can understand the map causing trouble but the sfm poster I could probably make in photoshop.

It doesn't matter whether it's harder or not. You said earlier that Swift didn't do anything to help the community even though he's probably done more stuff for the community than most people.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you didn't put me in
I've already said I'm not going to. You didn't support this idea in the beginning so there's no reason to have you in it. (Not to mention you disagreed with this idea quite obnoxiously. )

It's funny how you target me yet there are other people who disagreed in even ruder ways, but hey whatever, it's your anime

Baron on your profile post about it told you to hang yourself. Didn't see you getting mad at that.(plus I did tell him that saying that was a bit much, but what do I know, I don't have human decency)
No offense to you @Baron I luv ya :3

I didn't understand that this was an actual idea, but now that it's actually clear I am with swift and insanity on this one.
Personally, I don't have much experience with short film design or anything but I would assume that it would be painstakingly difficult to make an anime look at least semi decent. Not trying to shit on you @SNC, but I think that pursuing this idea might result in you being way over your head. I wish you the best of luck though, as I think it would be cool to see actually come together, no matter how 'MS-Paint'-ish it ends up being.
To quickly address another issue that Scrummy brought up in his general 'shit on swift' rant, The podcast was very difficult to make.
Personally, I didn't have much of any role in post, but I was aware of the amount of hours swift was putting into actually making all of it come together. This also, isn't the first thing that swift has worked effortlessly on for the community. He's administrated the servers for years on end and been a part of almost any community event that I can recall. His Youtube videos have highlighted the servers, and I am sure, have attracted a new audience of people. Not saying that all of these together could amount to making a full fledged anime, but it's definitely worth something. For what it's worth, the podcast came out really nice and I think we can all appreciate that.
but the sfm poster I could probably make in photoshop.
