Jailbreak Manager Dispute

This is an official unofficial vote based on the current jailbreak manager, @1769

This vote will last two weeks, so get yo kids and wives to vote.

If the vote of no passes then we'll vote on who you want as jb manager, ranging from white to zero.

This is also a thread to discuss your opinion and persuade others. Remember, you can change your vote.

Statistics to keep in mind:
1769 has been around for a damn long time.
1769 has had a total of 27 hours on sg since april 30th
At the time jb manager was decided, nobody else had a real chance.

If you play on a different server, or just don't care, don't vote, this is mainly for people who play on jb.

Keep in mind, 1769 has stated he will gladly resign if you people dont want him.

That is what we are really voting about.

Should we give others a chance to be a better JB manager? Or do you believe that no other deserves or is qualified for it.

If were going to have a jb manager then we need someone who goes on jb regularly, knows the rules in and out, and knows what the people want.
If 1769 doesnt go on jb then how does he know that the rules he pooits in place are keeping order. Response from the fourm isnt enough because some of sg doesnt even know about the fourms, those that do well... Good for them. I say if 1769 is willing to go on jb regularly then we keep him otherwise there is alot more people fit for the job that knows the rules and knows what new rules should be enforced...

Im with soupcan and i think we should vote for a new manager.

I don't think marking this as official without it being official is the right thing to do, though? In the end it's all up to asu and he hasn't said a word on it yet.

It would give everyone a chance to think about who should be the manager thoroughly and figure out who they truly want for this position.
1769 should however be put on the ballet for the vote though, he has done well and he should be an option for everyone to pick from.

Could others do better? We don't know for sure, but if people think someone else could, they deserve a shot at it, but 1769 would deserve an equal shot as well, if he wants it.

What I mean is, if you give choices, and the person sees none he wants, he can vote to keep the status-quo.

I think that a vote for an assistant manager could be needed - I don't see the point to swap him out for someone else when he's doing a decent/good job at what he's supposed to be doing. Having someone who's more active on the servers however could help him out in making better decisions.

He is drawing from everyone on by doing the "vote on rules at the end of each month" adding one assistant to go on every so often and give him a status report is not only the same thing, but its kind of a roundabout way of doing something that could be done by himself.

I wasn't thinking of a status report, was thinking more of a "this decision is a bad idea" guy.
